Hi, I’m Bryan Paul Kelly. I blog here to equip and empower communicators with tools that captivate audiences big or small.

My Content

My mission is to help communicators understand audiences and make stronger, more meaningful connections through their message.

I blog about communication brain science and human learning, audience engagement, and content marketing. Occasionally, I write about topics that don’t fit into any of these categories. You can find my best stuff on the Start Here page.

I also have a podcast called, What The Speak? which covers similar topics as those on my blog. The show is currently on hiatus, but I’d encourage you to listen to it here.

My intention is to provide valuable content you can immediately implement to get the most out of your communication as a professional. If you consider yourself someone who desires to persuade and influence audiences with your message—then this website is for you.

My Biography

I’m the CEO at rasa.io, software that brings Artificial Intelligence technologies to the world of online communities. I am also the former Vice President of Marketing for Aptify, a leading provider of Association Management Software (AMS) solutions for some of the world’s largest professional and trade associations. I have worked as a marketing executive for most of my career.

I began performing on stage in 1995 while a student at Belmont University, where I majored in Commercial Music and Music Business and was subsequently an aspiring recording artist. At the age of 26, I co-founded a marketing and design studio—having much of our work featured in hundreds of publications—like the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Dwell, and Metropolis.

During the mid-2000s, I transitioned from vocal performance to speaking—delivering keynotes and workshops. I began blogging and podcasting as co-founder of the award-winning Wright Society website, the #1 online resource for Frank Lloyd Wright-related news and content. Also, I co-founded PrairieMod—which delivers timeless modern home accents to a passionate community of enthusiasts through American made, handcrafted, and exclusively designed products.

I enjoy teaching and speaking on the topic of audience captivation.

I have been married to my beautiful wife, Lisa, for sixteen years. We live in suburban Chicago and enjoy hiking, running, mountain biking, kayaking, and dining at our favorite local spots together.
